About Steve

Steve Vaughn’s panoramic photographs are displayed on the walls of numerous Florida corporations and private residences. And not only that, there was surprise and delight recently when one of his small pieces was reported seen on a restroom wall at a Hess service station along Interstate 10!

Steve Vaughn comes to art and photography after a 30-year editing career in the newspaper business. During 25 years at The Orlando Sentinel he was sports editor, managing editor and then executive editor of the newspaper from 1980 through 1992. He is a past president of the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors.

Steve and Renae Vaughn, a tax accountant, have been married 54 years. Their son Michael is an attorney in Orlando and a captain in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. Daughter Kelley is a graphic designer, marketing person and musician in New York City. The Vaughns have five grandsons.
